99 ¢ Dreams was my filmmaker's version of a "coming of age" project. It's the project where I really found my voice, style, and owned my world building as a writer & director — and where I started to excavate the darker parts of my own story through my craft of storytelling. I'm excited to share that I am currently working on a TV pilot script to dive deeper into the concepts of nostalgia, grief, and legacy!

Welcome to the Drive-In.

Our film finalized post-production just at the start of the pandemic. We wanted a way to celebrate all that we have done and bring our community together in a COVID-safe way. We made our own drive-in to showcase 99¢ Dreams! Hosted by Danielle Maria Costa with Jess Costa (writer & director) and Briana Man (director of photography).
